**Job Posting: Warehouse Associate** **Location:** Manassas, VA **Job Description:** We are hiring a **Material Handler** for a local client located in Manassas, VA. This is a **temp-to-hire** opportunity with competitive pay and a schedule that offers work-life balance. Join a dynamic team in a light industrial environment where you will play a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate shipping, receiving, and transportation of raw and finished materials. **Responsibilities:** · Follow **FIFO** method to pick, ship, and transport finished goods and raw materials. · Read, understand, and interpret shipping documents such as BOLs, packing lists, and pro-numbers. · Assemble and package products into containers and affix accurate shipping labels. · Receive raw materials and supplies per standard operating procedures (SOPs). · Inspect incoming shipments for damage and discrepancies, recording shortages as needed. · Operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts and pallet jacks to move and store materials. · Perform light to moderate data entry for inventory management using ERP/WMS systems. · Load and unload materials manually and maintain organized storage areas. · Create computer-generated labels and shipping documents as required. **Qualifications:** **Education:** · High School Diploma or GED (required). **Experience:** · Minimum of **6 months of warehouse and forklift experience** . **Skills:** · Strong verbal and written communication in English. · Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems (preferred). · Ability to safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks. **Position Details:** · **Pay Rate:** $20/hour · **Schedule:** 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM o **Rotating Shift:** 4 days on, 3 days off; 3 days on, 4 days off. · **Assignment Type:** Temp to Hire · **Location Type:** Onsite **Work Environment & Requirements:** · **Dress Code:** Light industrial – closed-toe shoes, jeans, t-shirt. · Must adhere to safety and PPE guidelines.
