Job Description
Seeking a material handler to operate a large forklift. You will move material from rail cars in the yard into the shop. The yard does not have an active railcar line; it’s an old trailer from an existing line many years ago. You will load/unload material off trucks and move material around the facility. The material is very heavy, and the forklift is large. You will move large shell plates, pipes, I beams, flat bars, and other heavy materials. You will also perform shipping/receiving and documentation as needed, and stencil material once unloaded.

This is a long-term position with a very safe company that offers good benefits.
Work Environment
You will work outside in the yard and in the shop. It will be hot when the weather is hot and cold when the weather is cold. The day shift runs from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, with Saturdays as needed. You need to be comfortable rotating to a second shift once it opens. You will work 6 months on the first shift and 2-4 months on the second shift, then rotate back to the first shift for 6+ months.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00
