Job Description
We are looking for a Material Handler who will accurately provide inventory information for company-controlled material stock. You will also monitor, organize, and maintain the inventory of company products at multiple branch locations while working alongside a diverse group of people.
ResponsibilitiesOperate sit-down forklifts, order pickers, and side-loader forklifts.Conduct inventory control and cycle counting duties.Enter data for inventory into a computer.Record data manually using a clipboard.Load and unload metal materials (raw materials) both manually and with a forklift.Complete material receiving activities for shipments between locations or direct from the mill.Coordinate movement of material from stock to processing to support production requirements.Operate material handling equipment as necessary to support the movement of material.Perform accurate and timely data entry within the inventory management system regarding material movements.Prepare and maintain appropriate inventory identification tags.Complete material consolidation tasks, including supermarket.Identify material shortages and issues, and communicate them to appropriate staff.Perform verification of scrap.Maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in all work.Assist the quality assurance team in activities related to credits.Perform equipment preventative maintenance and clean up.Essential SkillsAbility and experience operating a sit-down forklift.Strong attendance and work history with regards to tenure.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with inventory control.Proficiency in data entry and computer usage.Experience with order pickers and general labor tasks.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Large raw material supplier facility where materials are stored, cut, and shipped to customers. The fast-paced environment includes over 60 employees on the floor. Work hours are Monday through Thursday from 4 am to 2:30 pm. The facility is located in Auburn, WA, with shifts primarily on the 1st shift from 4 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Thursday.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.20 - $20.20
