As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for auditing, systematically loading and unloading transportation vehicles, assembling customer orders with attention to detail, and efficiently moving materials within the facility. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity, meaning the client could hire you directly.
What We Offer Multiple shifts Available | First, Second, and Third 401k Health benefits, including telehealth medical services Opportunity for advancement This is a temp-to-hire opportunity What We’re Looking For High school diploma or GED Forklift Certification (required) 1+ years of experience operating a reach truck or cherry picker 1+ years of experience with picking processes; RF gun experience is highly preferred Ability to stand for the duration of the shift Must be comfortable working at elevated heights Ability to work overtime and weekends as required What You’ll Do as a Material Handler Select and assemble materials efficiently from storage locations, ensuring all orders are complete, packed, and labeled or marked before moving to staging areas Load and unload trucks with precision and following safety protocols Operate material handling equipment, including industrial trucks, while adhering to safety guidelines Audit finished goods received from production, ensuring accurate documentation is completed Coordinate the timely delivery of component materials to designated work areas as directed by the supervisor Inspect and maintain power handling equipment regularly, identifying, documenting, and reporting malfunctions or irregular conditions Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure efficiency Follow all safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a safe work environment Adhere to the production schedule as posted to ensure workflow continuity Generate inventory control data for pallets and outbound shipments as requested Compile and submit end-of-shift reports on time Perform any other duties as assigned
