Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler 1 to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing the physical and administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of products, materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to handle and operate material handling equipment within the warehouse. Candidates should be prepared to work onsite, Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 3:30 PM.

ResponsibilitiesPerform physical and administrative tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of products, materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.Unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices.Maintain records of received goods and reject unsatisfactory items as necessary.Lift heavy items and operate motorized vehicle equipment, including forklifts and cherry pickers, within the warehouse.Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped.Post weights and shipping charges and prepare goods for final shipment.Examine stocks and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.Prepare kitting packages for assembly production.Essential SkillsExperience within a warehouse distribution environment.Experience operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, electronic pallet jacks, cherry pickers, and forklifts.Ability to use an RF scanner to pull and receive product.Ability to receive and inspect incoming freight and stock warehouse locations.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with fulfillment and receiving processes.Ability to work on routine assignments with limited judgment.Detail-oriented and capable of following detailed instructions.Why Work Here?

The work environment is a standard warehouse and distribution facility with concrete floors and a large square footage layout. Material handling equipment is consistently being used, and the role requires the ability to navigate and operate within this setting.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00
