Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler with 1-3 years of warehouse experience, including forklift operation and computer skills for inventory management, to join our team in Stoughton, MA. The role involves various warehousing duties, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in handling materials and interacting with customers.

ResponsibilitiesPay attention to detail.Meet and greet customers.Review requisition forms for completeness (signatures, timestamps, part numbers, description, and quantity).Answer questions regarding parts availability.Ask appropriate questions to ensure correct parts are researched and provided.Inform customers when requested parts are available.Occasionally drive to vendors' locations to purchase/pick-up parts.Provide necessary documentation to vendors (tax exempt form, credit references).Review vendor invoices for accuracy in pricing, parts, and quantities.Return products to the location in a timely manner.Generate customer requisitions in the inventory system.Enter vendor receiving documents in the inventory system.Receive, stow, and catalog inbound and outbound inventory.Provide support during emergencies.Conduct inventory research projects as requested.Maintain a neat and clean stock room area and perform regular cycle counts of material.Adhere to required procedures.Essential Skills1-3 years of material handling experience.Forklift operation experience.Experience using scan guns for inventory control.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.Computer experience for inventory management.Additional Skills & QualificationsComfortable working on feet for 8 hours.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

You will be working at our base location, primarily on your feet for up to 8 hours per shift, in a fast-paced environment. The role involves working in small teams of 3-4 members. The dress code is casual. Shift hours vary by location: Quincy Bus Garage (Monday - Friday, 1:30pm - 10:00pm) and Charlestown Bus Garage (Split schedule: Week 1 (Sun - Tues) Week 2 (Sun - Wed), 6:00am - 5:30pm).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00
