Job Description
A typical day in the position involves cycle counts, data entry, forklift driving, saw operation, and working with computer systems efficiently. Safety is the top priority at all times.
ResponsibilitiesOperate forklifts safely and efficiently.Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records.Handle materials and ensure proper storage and organization in the warehouse.Utilize computer systems for data entry and inventory management.Operate saws and other machinery as required.Read and interpret blueprints and utilize rulers for precise measurements.Use RF scanners for picking and packing tasks.Support shipping and receiving operations.Ensure adherence to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.Essential SkillsForklift operation experience.Warehouse experience.Material handling expertise.Proficiency in computer systems and data entry.Strong math and reading skills for utilizing rulers and interpreting blueprints.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required.Minimum of 1+ years of warehouse and production experience in a metals facility or manufacturing-related environment.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The position is based in a production facility with a warehouse environment. High production numbers and efficiencies are expected. The facility has 150-160 full-time employees. The dress code includes jeans, t-shirts, steel-toed shoes, and PPE provided by the employer. Shifts are structured as follows: 1st: 6am-2pm, 2nd: 2pm-10pm, and 3rd: 10pm-6am. Employees are required to work 7 days a week for at least the next 3 months, with one Sunday off per month.
