Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler & Delivery Driver to join our shipping/receiving department. This role involves operating a forklift, moving small motors, and ensuring the orderly production and distribution of products. A Class B CDL and medical card are preferred.
ResponsibilitiesPull orders from inventory and deliver production materials and supplies where needed.Stage finished products for final distribution.Contribute to the orderly operation of stock and materials storage area.Locate materials and supplies by verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.Maintain in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.Locate and pack materials for shipping.Document materials and record units delivered and location of units.Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.Record product shipment details by documenting units shipped.Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items, or signal machine operators to move materials onto and off trucks and loading docks.Keep inventory and loading areas clean.Learn and adhere to workplace safety regulations.Use a variety of hand tools, electric tools, and testing equipment.Deliver enclosures to customers as needed.Essential SkillsClass B CDL and medical card preferredForklift experienceMaterial handlingDelivery drivingInventory managementShipping and receivingAdditional Skills & QualificationsValid driver’s license and safe driving recordAbility to drive a box truckPrevious stock or inventory experience is a plusPrevious experience operating a forklift or pallet jack is a plusWhy Work Here?

Work Environment
This role is based in a relatively new manufacturing shop environment. Standard working hours are Monday-Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm. There are peak periods a couple of times a year, typically from September to November and April to May, where work extends to 6-7 days a week due to client demands.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00
