The Material Handler, an essential part of hospital operations, supporting our Dietary Aides by accounting for stock and delivering supplies according to the minimum and maximum levels for the units' carts and floor supplies.\n

Roles and Responsibilities:\n\nAccounting for stock and delivering supplies according to the minimum and maximum levels for the units' carts and floor supplies\nReceives, inspects, unpacks, labels, stores and issues various medical supplies, instruments, materials, etc\nMaintains inventory records of items received and issued\nPrepares goods for shipping by packing and making transportation arrangements\n\n

Required Skills and Experience:\n\nHS Diploma or equivalent experience\n1 year of experience in Materials Handling\n\n

Preferred Skills and Experience:\n\nExperience in food or consumables logistics is preferred but not required\n\n

Physical Requirements:\n\nStanding for long periods of time, lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, pushing, pulling and reaching. \nMay be exposed to areas of extreme heat or cold. Primary location may include loud noises, wet and slippery conditions, exposure to sharp objects\n\n

Location and Travel Requirements:\n\nOnsite at Cayuga Medical Center \nMay need to work some evenings and weekends\n\n

Pay Range Disclosure:\n\n$17.50 to $23.00 per hour\n\n
