JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for receiving incoming product, packaging and shipping customer orders.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
        

Receive, Pack or Ship dailyAssist in handling customer service issues as neededPicking customer orders, loading and unloading trucksMaintain required paperwork i.e. cleaning logs, PIV maintenance logOperate a PIV – Powered Industrial TruckAbility to work in other areas, as neededAble to work overtime as neededMaintain a safe and orderly work areaKeep in compliance of safety measures including the use of Safety vestKnow and follow policies and procedures related to work activities performed in area of responsibilityComplete training in area of responsibility. Training is required for changes in existing policies & procedures, for new assignments and for implementation of new policies & procedures.  Complete required periodic re-training in areas such as environmental health & safetyAssist with training and qualifying other team members to perform a variety of processes and operationsCommitment to building a positive cultureOther responsibilities may be assigned & not all responsibilities listed may be assigned

Physical Requirements Needed to Perform Position Functions 

Lift/carry up to 10 lbs continuously, up to 20 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionallyPush/pull up to 50 lbs frequently, and up to 100 lbs occasionallyBend up to 30 degrees, twist/turn, kneel/squat, overhead reaching, ladder/stair climb and sit occasionallyStand/walk continuouslyFrequently rotate activities/positionsOperate power/vibrating tools, torqueing/crimping, grasping-light, keystrokes, and out-stretched arms with both hands


EDUCATION AND MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

0-1 years warehouse or similar experiencePrior experience in the medical device industry is preferredAble to work with proprietary software system as well as vendor supplied systems including SAP and Critical Manufacturing is preferredAble to understand and follow Work InstructionsAbility to read, write, count and understand EnglishBasic knowledge of FDA and ISO regulations preferredWillingness to learn and take on additional responsibilitiesAbility to follow verbal and written instructionsExcellent hand and eye coordination/dexterityAbility to learn quickly and to identify, logically analyze and solve work-related problemsAbility to learn overall understanding of process flow and resources within the organizationAbility to function independently as well as part of a teamAbility to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environmentAbility to maintain high work standards and concern for quality of workAbility to work in a fast-paced environment

The hourly pay range for this role is $15.77 - $25.24. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
