**Job Title: Material Handler** **Job Description** We are seeking a diligent Material Handler to join our team in Elk Grove Village, IL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for counting, weighing, and verifying incoming materials and supplies against packing lists, bills of lading, work orders, and receivers. **Responsibilities** + Assemble and verify UPS, FedEx, internal, and other carrier’s shipping and receiving logs, manifests, bills of lading, including data entry and ensure forwarding of completed documents to the appropriate locations. + Assemble, verify, and package customer orders and purchase orders for shipment and outside processing. + Maintain appropriate shipping supplies inventories. + Provide material handling support and ensure that material is piled, stacked, and stored safely. + Arrange for the most cost-effective and efficient manner for shipments. + Maintain a safe and clean work environment. + Process work orders and issue parts as needed. + Process service orders. + Process and track outside processing. + Able to lift up to 75 lbs. + Demonstrate teamwork and a willingness to serve in whatever capacity is deemed necessary. + Other duties as assigned by management. **Essential Skills** + Ability to read, write, and speak English. + Basic computer skills. + Experience with UPS and FedEx shipping and receiving. + Ability to lift 50-75 lbs twice a day. + Bilingual in English and Spanish. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with sit-down forklifts. + Inventory management experience. + Experience with AS400. **Why Work Here?** We value quality, quantity, attendance, and teamwork in every employee. The dress code prohibits shorts and requires closed-toed shoes, although steel-toed shoes or glasses are not mandatory. The role involves working within a leading manufacturer of quality print finishing solutions, including thermal, heat assist, and pressure-sensitive laminating films and adhesives, wide format and desktop laminators, and automated high-speed laminating systems. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elk Grove Village, Illinois. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
