Material Handler
**Job Title: Material Handler** **Job Description** As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for training and learning specific warehouse inventory and processes. You will need to read work orders for pallets and correctly pick orders, understand which items are heaviest for proper pallet stacking, and operate cherry pickers, reach trucks, or forklifts to pick orders. Attention to detail is crucial to ensure the correct product is being picked. Additional responsibilities include assembling crates for shipment, transporting orders to shrink wrapping equipment, and lifting materials between 50-100 lbs. **Responsibilities** + Read work orders for pallets and correctly pick orders. + Operate cherry pickers, reach trucks, or forklifts to pick orders. + Pay close attention to detail to ensure the correct product is being picked. + Assemble crates for products to be shipped to other companies. + Transport orders to shrink wrapping equipment to wrap orders before shipment. + Lift materials weighing between 50-100 lbs. **Essential Skills** + Experience with stand-up forklifts, sit-down forklifts, and other warehouse forklifts. + Experience in warehouse order filling and packaging. + Ability to work independently. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with reach trucks or pallet jacks. + Previous warehouse experience is required. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy working in a clean, well-organized facility with a good culture. When customers need paper, the material handlers pull the paper, cut it to the correct length, and ship it to the customer. The work environment is very physical and fast-paced. The facility operates Monday through Friday from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am, with a $1.00 shift differential for the third shift.
