**Job Title: Material Handler**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. The Material Handler will be responsible for various inventory control activities, including counting, labeling, stocking, and auditing. Additionally, the role involves picking, packing, and verifying materials, along with maintaining high standards of organization and efficiency.
**Responsibilities**
+ Conduct inventory control activities, such as counting, labeling, stocking, down stocking, pre-packaging, stock movements, and auditing.
+ Perform cycle counting and inventory auditing, including making continued improvement recommendations and solving issues.
+ Pick, pack, and audit work orders.
+ Label inventory, including bagging and boxing.
+ Verify materials from Receiving.
+ Monitor shelf life for expiration dates of inventory.
+ Assist in training new hires.
+ Manage special handling of sensitive materials.
+ Perform material replenishments.
+ Use RF handheld devices.
+ Maintain 5S standards.
+ Participate in special projects or tasks as needed.
**Essential Skills**
+ High school diploma/GED preferred.
+ 2-3 years of warehouse experience.
**Work Environment**
This role requires working onsite at a facility in Livermore, CA. The environment is incredibly fast-paced, and you will be standing on your feet all day. The shift is from 9am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Livermore, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
