**Job Title: Material Handler | Holland, MI** **$18-19 an hour depending on shift** **Job Description** As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for efficiently picking and putting away parts in the warehouse and line locations, confirming finished goods and delivering them to the dock, performing physical inventory counts, reporting and transferring manufacturing scrap, restocking hardware to assembly lines, responding to requests from the manufacturing lines, and assisting in the receiving area with loading and unloading trucks when needed. You will also be required to follow proper industrial equipment guidelines. **Responsibilities** + Pick and put away parts in the warehouse and line locations. + Confirm finished goods and deliver them to the dock. + Perform physical inventory counts. + Report and transfer manufacturing scrap. + Restock hardware to assembly lines. + Respond to requests from manufacturing lines and deliver material. + Assist in the receiving area with loading and unloading trucks when needed. + Follow proper industrial equipment guidelines. **Essential Skills** + Prior hi-lo and forklift experience. + Valid and clear driver’s license with no restrictions. + 6 months or more of material handling experience. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in production, material handling, picking and packing. + Ability to use a pallet jack. + General labor skills. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Holland, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
