Location: Farmington, NY

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00/hr

Job Description

As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for receiving and inspecting incoming shipments for discrepancies and damage, and reporting problems promptly.

ResponsibilitiesStore materials and supplies within the warehouse according to part number and description by safely performing physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and stacking by hand or using material handling equipment.Load and unload delivery vehicles, operate fork trucks, lift and carry merchandise, and stock items in appropriate areas throughout the warehouse.Verify quantities of deliveries and merchandise serial numbers by comparing merchandise to packing slips.Complete customer orders by obtaining appropriate material from storage in accordance with picking tickets.Prepare shipments by boxing materials, labeling with appropriate shipping information, and completing the necessary paperwork.Essential SkillsExperience in inventory, shipping, and receiving.Proficiency in inventory control and order selection.Skills in picking, packing, kitting, and packaging.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
