**Job Title: Material Handler** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. The successful candidate will work in either the shipping or receiving areas, handling tasks such as packaging and shipping electrical supplies. These supplies range from small boxes to large electrical spools with wiring, which will be processed for inventory or shipped out to clients. The role involves loading and unloading trucks, inputting products into the computer system, setting up shipments, coordinating with vendors, and tracking inventory. Basic scanner and computer skills are essential for success in this role. **Responsibilities** + Package and ship electrical supplies. + Label and process small boxes and large electrical spools. + Load and unload trucks or flatbeds. + Input products into the computer system using basic scanner and computer skills. + Set up shipments and coordinate with vendors. + Track inventory using computer systems. + Unpack and pack orders, verifying item accuracy. **Essential Skills** + At least 3 years of experience in shipping/receiving. + Proficiency in using computer systems. + Valid driver's license. + Strong communication skills. + Ability to pass onboarding requirements. + High school diploma or equivalent. + Basic math skills. + Attention to detail. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with inventory management, shipping and receiving, picking, packing, loading, pallet jack operations, order picking, forklift operation, RF scanner usage, material handling, unloading, data entry, SAP, inventory control, warehouse inventory, and cycle counts. + Ability to perform heavy lifting. **Why Work Here?** Join a team that values hard work and dedication. It is insulated to prevent extreme heat, although it is not air-conditioned. The dress code includes work pants, steel-toed shoes, and basic shirts. Standard hours are typically 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, with variations depending on workload. Weekend work may be required during busy periods, and shifts can range from 8 to 12 hours. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
