With over 1,500 specialty SKUs spanning 500+ product families, Vybond serves 1,500+ customers across the HVAC, building and construction, industrial, retail, medical, aerospace, automotive, and other specialty industries. **Responsibilities** **PURPOSE:** By means of pallet jacks, hand trucks, or other means, the Production Material Handler is responsible for the movement of product in connection with receiving, storing, staging, and distribution functions. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Promotes a strong safety culture and help provide oversight of safe work practices. + Sets a positive example for employees by actively participating in completion of daily work and promoting company policies, procedures and goals. + Proactively participates in a company “team” approach; and effectively communicates operational needs and priorities with internal team members. + Follows procedures and JSA’s- insertion of corrugated material, obtains needed packaging supplies, grinding scrap bottles/tails. + In charge of maintain consumables and packing materials for the coating material. + Reads schedules, pick list, packing list, and, or, material requisitions to determine items to be move, gathered, distributed, staged, and, or, loaded. + Conveys materials and items from receiving areas to storage and, or, designated areas. + Other duties as assigned. + Pick products for coating according to the department schedule in a timely fashion + Assist with inventory + Complete required documentation + Cycle count as required daily inventory, accurate record keepng in designated location. **Shift** **:** **1 Day Material Handler M-Th 7am-7pm** **1 Night Material Handler M-Thu 7pm-7am** **Qualifications** **QUALIFICATIONS:** + Must be able to work safely and follow safety rules. + Must be able to identify and report violations and unsafe conditions to appropriate personnel. + Must be able to wear protective clothing as uniform, rubber-soled shoes, gloves, long-sleeved shirt, and earplugs. + Must be able to follow all department procedures and directives. + Good written and verbal communication skills. + Able to read, write, speak and understand English directions/instructions. + Basic math skills. + Able to work overtime. + Required to lift boxes weighting up to 35 lbs. + Demonstrate computer knowledge in DcLink and JDE. + Forklift driving is required a minimum of 4 hours per day.
