Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Material Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations, international export/import compliance, and ERP systems. This role requires excellent analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
ResponsibilitiesAssist daily with warehouse receiving materials and pull materials for production.Ensure accuracy of shipments and supporting documentation.Receive incoming material and route to appropriate area or personnel.Fill work orders from production and package assemblies.Receive finished goods into inventory.Ensure inventory transactions are accurately logged and perform cycle counts.Issue instructions to carriers and schedule/monitor carriers for on-time pickup and delivery.Maintain departmental work instructions for all tasks.Essential SkillsProficiency in ERP systems; ERP Priority is an advantage.At least 2 years of experience in warehouse operations and international export/import compliance.Familiarity with BOM and pick/pack against work orders.Strong analytical skills with the ability to work on complex problems and perform 'what if' analysis.Excellent communication skills to effectively guide various teams within Operations and Service.Ability to work well with cross-functional teams and independently.Capability to work under pressure for extended periods.Experience in collecting, interpreting, and analyzing complex data.Visual acuity for operating equipment, reading technical information, and using a keyboard.Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously, perform repetitive motion activities, and lift up to 68 lbs.Proficiency in using computer/keyboard/mouse for long periods.Flexibility to occasionally work longer than 8 hours a day.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with forklifts and material handling equipment.Background in logistics, inventory management, data entry, and shipping/receiving.Knowledge of SAP, Oracle, and other relevant systems.Why Work Here?

You will be part of a warehouse team of 4 people. We have a new building that is currently being expanded.

This is a Contract position based out of Fremont, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
