**Seeking a Material Handler to work in Paola, KS!** **Job Description** The Materials Handler is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products within a warehouse or manufacturing environment. This role requires the operation of material handling equipment to move materials to and from storage areas and loading docks. **Responsibilities** + Ensures orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished products for final distribution. + Contributes to the orderly operation of stock and/or materials storage area. + Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording the location of inventory, and reporting shortages. + Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders. + Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies. + Locates and packs materials for shipping. + Documents materials and records units delivered and the location of units. + Receives return material and supplies from production by verifying materials, lot numbers, and quantities. + Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product. + Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and making operator repairs. + Operates machinery to move items. + Keeps inventory, loading areas, and machinery clean. + Learns and adheres to workplace safety regulations **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in inventory control, shipping, and receiving. + Forklift operation experience. + Familiarity with SAP. + Understanding of supply chain processes. + Stand up reach truck experience needed. Monday - Thursday 6am-4:30pm **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
