**Job Title: Material Handler** **Job Description** Candidates will start by training for a month doing general clean-up, learning color codes for steel, placement in warehouse and training on the crane based on previous crane experience. Candidates must be okay with running indoor and outdoor cranes, and performing all functions to include housekeeping that comes with the role as they could be placed on one particular crane that stores materials outside. **Responsibilities** + Perform general clean-up and learn color codes for steel. + Train on crane operations based on previous crane experience. + Operate indoor and outdoor cranes and perform housekeeping duties. + Pull beams, load flatbed trailers and railcars, including rigging and getting up onto the backs of flatbeds. + Receive inventory, move materials using overhead cranes, fill out shipping reports and bills of lading, and document all outgoing loads. + Potentially train to be a saw or brake operator, forklift operator (considered a promotional opportunity), steel bending machine operator, or beam saw/cutter. **Essential Skills** + Warehouse inventory management + Heavy industry experience + Banding and loading materials + Equipment operation + Crane operation + Truck loading + 1-2 years of construction or manufacturing experience + Machine operating experience + Forklift, bobcat, overhead crane, band saw, and sheet metal handling experience + Inventory management **Why Work Here?** Our company offers competitive hourly pay with an attractive shares program that provides additional earnings based on company profitability.
