**Aerotek is hiring for a material handler in the Timonium, MD area** **Job Description** The Material Handler will be responsible for packaging finished products and preparing them for shipment. This role requires extensive care as each piece of equipment is fragile and expensive. The majority of the time will be spent packaging items for shipment, operating a forklift or pallet jack, and using UPS and FedEx for shipping and receiving. The candidate will also need to use a computer to prepare shipping labels. **Responsibilities** + Package finished products and prepare them for shipment. + Handle fragile and expensive equipment with care. + Operate a forklift or pallet jack. + Use UPS and FedEx for shipping and receiving. + Use a computer to prepare shipping labels. **Essential Skills** + 4+ years of experience with shipping and receiving. + Experience packaging and prepping products for shipment. + Experience using a computer to create shipping labels via UPS or FedEx. + Strong attention to detail to handle intricate and fragile products. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with inventory, cycle counts, RF scanner, WMS, inventory tracking, and material handling. **Why Work Here?** This company oversees a large number of sub-companies specializing in various products and equipment. This is a 1st shift opening from 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
