Material Handler Job Details Level Experienced Job Location Saint Louis Division - St Louis, MO Position Type Full Time Education Level High School Salary Range $22.19 - $27.74 Hourly Description Perform duties required to load and unload trucks delivering supplies and parts. Place material in staging area, maintain records of materials received, and move materials throughout the shop as necessary. A Material Handler will start at $20.91/hr. and reaches $26.93/hr. within 12 months! Key Responsibilities: + Load and unload trucks carrying, weighing, counting, and moving raw materials, supplies, and finished parts, using a forklift, pallet jack, and hand truck. + Complete shop orders and bills of lading on shipments. + Weigh in parts and verify receipt against paperwork. + Inspect incoming work for proper packaging and/or damage. + Process incoming and outgoing UPS shipments. + Enter incoming shipment information into computer and on appropriate forms, and complete daily received goods sheet. + Respond to customer service requests for shipping information, as well as customer inquiries concerning parts. + Assist operators and helpers in locating parts. + Prepare pallets and containers for shipment. + Organize areas in the plant to optimize material flow and keep the plant orderly. Qualifications Qualifications: + Requires a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. + Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen, this includes THC within DOT regulations. License(s)/Certification(s) Required: + Must be able to obtain a forklift certification. + Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Commercial Driver's License and Medical Certification Card per DOT Regulations. Current Class A or B CDL desired. + Must have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record in compliance with DOT CDL Regulations and our Fleet Safety Policy. Experience: + On-the-job training is required for this position. + Desire three months of similar or related qualifying experience + Must be available for all shifts.
