POSITION OBJECTIVE
Responsible for shipping, and warehousing duties. Responsible for an accurate account of all materials that are kept and distributed from location. To satisfy customer requests efficiently and to ensure that the information on each order is correct. Counts, measures, or weighs articles to verify contents of shipments against bills of lading, invoices, or storage receipts by performing the following duties. Ships, stores, and distributes products within establishments by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process orders on RF scan guns.
Calls freight carrier for pickups and freight charges.
Frequently handles picking tickets from the printer and routes as needed.
Examine articles for defects and sort articles according to extent of defect.
Process UPS and FedEx Shipments.
Assist/perform the duty of filling outbound shipments accurately again with proper documentation and loading of freight carrier.
Assist in accounting for all materials received accurately with proper documentation (Packing Slips, Return Authorizations, SDS).
Unloads and unpacks incoming shipments.
Matches P.O. number with receiving data and enters into SAP system.
Operates all material handling equipment and vehicles while following prescribed company procedures.
Maintains upkeep of warehouse equipment.
Maintains organization, cleanliness, and housekeeping of finished goods warehouse.
Participates in daily, monthly and quarterly inventory counts.
Sort and stack skids.
Reads order to determine items to be moved, gathered, and distributed
Assist in training of trainees and temporaries on how to perform all their duties safely.
Prepare and match appropriate records and/or documents
Conveys material and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
Bin to Bin materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size or product code.
Marks with identifying information when repacking.
Properly dispose of scrap, refuge, and recycle cardboard.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or any combination of education and experience at the supervisor's discretion.
A minimum of 1 year of experience operating powered handling equipment
Computer and telephone experience.
RF scan gun experience
Experience with cycle counts/ Physical inventory
Detail oriented
Excellent math skills
