Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

Candidates will be responsible for reconditioning heat exchange plates. The plates are a thin piece of sheet metal (about the size of a door) with rubber gaskets attached. Once the sheets reach the warehouse, candidates will remove the rubber gaskets either by hand or by dipping the sheet in a container full of liquid nitrogen. After removing the gaskets, they will clean the plates by power washing them, test the plates for any cracks or holes by spraying them with a material that identifies defects under a black light, and then wash and dry the plates. They will then glue the gaskets back onto the plates, transfer them into an oven where the gaskets will adhere to the metal, cool the plates off, and prepare them for shipment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
