Job Description
We are looking to add experienced Material Handlers to our team. This role involves the movement of materials to and from the production department, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
ResponsibilitiesOperate forklift, clamp truck, and pallet jacks safely and effectively.Perform daily pre-shift forklift checks, including battery changes.Inspect products to ensure they are properly packaged for shipment to customers.Consistently lift boxes weighing up to 35 lbs.Accurately fill out labels and paperwork.Verify correct weights and counts of materials.Construct cardboard boxes from collapsed cartons.Relieve packers for all breaks.Essential SkillsMaterial handlingForklift operationMovement of materialsProduction pickingSit-down forklift operationClamp forklift operationPallet jack operationAttention to detailTime managementAdditional Skills & QualificationsPrior manufacturing experience6 months of forklift experienceWhy Work Here?
We offer bonuses every June and December based on production and company performance. Enjoy a $1,000 referral bonus and a $500 perfect attendance bonus twice a year. We provide 1 week of time off in the first year and 2 weeks in the second year.
Work Environment
Work in a dynamic environment with two shifts: 7am - 7pm (A & B) and 7pm - 7am (C & D), working 15 days per month. Automatic termination for NCNS (No Call No Show). 2 call-ins are allowed per month. Additional information on temperature and cleanliness will be provided after a tour.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.50/hr.
