Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the operations department supporting various assembly and machining teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a commitment to safety, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Material Handler **Location:** Milwaukie, OR **Pay Range:** Up to $23/hr **What's the Job?** + Ensure material flow for assembly cells, WIP markets, and machining cells across the plant. + Replenish parts in workstations using a tugger cart and deliver materials to the proper inventory locations. + Follow all standard operating procedures, including safety protocols and CTPAT compliance. + Inspect equipment and escalate any safety issues to your supervisor. + Participate in Continuous Improvement activities and identify opportunities to enhance processes. **What's Needed?** + High school graduate or equivalent preferred. + Previous receiving experience is preferred. + Ability to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and hoists (training/certification available). + Strong critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills. + Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions effectively. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to contribute to a quality-focused manufacturing environment. + Onsite training and certification for operating lifting devices. + Engagement in a culture that values innovation and continuous learning. + Chance to work in a collaborative team environment. + Potential for career growth and development within the organization.
