Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the operations department supporting various assembly and machining teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a commitment to safety, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Milwaukie, OR

Pay Range: Up to $23/hr

What's the Job?

Ensure material flow for assembly cells, WIP markets, and machining cells across the plant. Replenish parts in workstations using a tugger cart and deliver materials to the proper inventory locations. Follow all standard operating procedures, including safety protocols and CTPAT compliance. Inspect equipment and escalate any safety issues to your supervisor. Participate in Continuous Improvement activities and identify opportunities to enhance processes.

What's Needed?

High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Previous receiving experience is preferred. Ability to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and hoists (training/certification available). Strong critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions effectively.
