**Job Title: Material Handler** **Job Description** Candidates will be responsible for going to production and getting pallets of finished products with the forklift. They will store the pallets in their correct warehouse locations. They will also be responsible for picking orders, loading trucks when they are ready and unloading trucks of raw material. They will use RF Scanners to ensure accuracy and track their work. **Responsibilities** + Retrieve pallets of finished products using a sit-down forklift. + Store pallets in appropriate warehouse locations. + Pick orders accurately and efficiently. + Load trucks with finished products and unload trucks of raw materials. + Utilize RF Scanners to ensure accuracy and track work. + Palletize products as required. + Operate a sit-down forklift for a variety of production tasks. + Transport products to and from production lines. **Essential Skills** + Minimum 1 year of experience operating a sit-down forklift. + Minimum 1 year of material handling experience. + High school diploma. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Active forklift certification is preferred. + Attention to detail and ability to verify and follow processes. **Why Work Here?** This is a great place to work with a strong emphasis on employee care. The work hours are 2 PM to 10:30 PM, with flexible training shifts available. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elk Grove Village, Illinois. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
