Material Handler
Our client, a leader in the industrial sector, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the production team supporting the efficient flow of materials. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Material Handler **Location:** Clare, MI **Pay Range:** $15.50 per hour Shift - 1st - 8 am to 4 pm *overtime is scheduled prior to shift start time and can be heavy at times **What's the Job?** + Provide support to production associates by receiving, dispensing, and accurately maintaining inventory in vertical storage units and on the shop floor. + Utilize the Q.A.D. system for all transactions to ensure accuracy. + Assist with maintaining inventory levels for vertical storage units. + Receive hardware into the vertical storage unit, ensuring proper sequencing by size, type, style, color, and product code. + Transport materials between departments using fork trucks, carts, or other approved methods. **What's Needed?** + Minimum of 1 year of prior forklift experience. + High School diploma or GED required. + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. + Ability to work effectively in a team environment. + Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and procedures. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. + Gain valuable experience in inventory management and material handling. + Be part of a team that values collaboration and efficiency. + Develop your skills in operating industrial equipment. + Potential for career advancement within the organization.
