**Job Title: Material Handler** Weekly Pay || $18-$19 an hour || Louisville, KY **Job Description** The ideal candidate would have experience with cherry picking, reach truck, or forklift operations. However, training is available. Previous warehouse experience is beneficial. The candidate must be willing to train on an order picker (cherry picker) and should not be afraid of heights. Until trained on the equipment, duties may include hand picking, packing, or working in the shipping area. Once trained on the picker, the role will primarily involve operating the cherry picker and picking products for shipping. The candidate will also need to meet the picking rates required. **Responsibilities** + Operate cherry picker and pick products for shipping once trained. + Hand pick, pack, or work in the shipping area until trained on equipment. + Build and maintain picking rates required. + Use RF scanning equipment. + Keep up with established picking/packing goals. + Willingness to work overtime each day if needed. **Essential Skills** + Picking and packing experience. + RF scanning. + Warehouse experience. + Cherry picking and reach truck operation. + High school diploma or GED. + No fear of heights. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Forklift experience preferred. **Why Work Here?** $2000 sign-on bonus after going direct for 30 days! **Work Environment** The facility is a part distribution center for a manufacturer of large cleaning/sweeping machines, equipment, and parts. It is not climate-controlled. Shorts and tank tops are acceptable attire. The environment is hot in the summer and cool in the winter. If the temperature exceeds 97 degrees, extra breaks, water, and popsicles are provided. The pace is not extremely fast but meeting goals is expected. Trainers wear light blue shirts, and leads wear dark blue shirts. Break times vary based on shift, with 1st shifts starting at 7am, 8am, and 10am, and 2nd shift starting at 1:30 PM. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
