Our client in the Chambersburg, Pennsylvania area is looking to hire a Material Handler for their location. The ideal candidate will need the ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Responsibilities include performing visual inspections to identify any eggs that may be cracked, dirty, or otherwise defective.

The Day-to-Day:

Egg Packing: Handle eggs with care to prevent breakage or contamination.Sorting Eggs: Sort eggs based on size, grade, and quality. Separate and discard eggs that do not meet company standards.Box Breakdown and Recycling: Break down empty egg cartons and boxes to prepare for recycling or disposal. Ensure that boxes are flattened and organized for easy removal. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and order in the packing area.General Maintenance: Assist in keeping the packing and sorting area clean and organized. Report any issues with equipment or product quality to the supervisor. Follow all company safety protocols and food safety regulations.Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as required by the supervisor. Support other team members in fulfilling production goals.

Qualifications:

High School DiplomaPrevious experience in a warehouse or food production environment is a plus but not required.Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced environment.Ability to lift and move boxes, with some physical demands.Knowledge of food safety and handling practices is a plus.Bilingual in English/Spanish is a MUST

Pay Rate:

$12.50 /hr
