Material Handler - Driver

Job Summary Follow standard work for material handling (e.g. receiving, shipping, warehousing…..) Perform all activities in accordance with safety and quality rules Use adequate equipment (forklift, tow train….) to move material Records movements of material in the transactional records systems (e.g. receipt, booking….) Make proposals to improve safety, quality, efficiency…

This role may require specific accreditation to use specific handling equipments. The local job description must mentioned all necessary accreditation to use on site handling equipment.

Job Responsibilities Manage inbound material flow Monitor inbound delivery performance Receive, inspect, and store inbound deliveries Tract product availability Pick, pack and ship product for delivery Prepare package and shipment Manage shipping, carriers and fleets Authorize and process returns Perform reverse logistics Perform salvage activities Manage and process warranty claims Locate stock Prepare stock for movement Physically move stock Maintain inventory status Perform physical inventory procedures Job Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Must have 3+ years of driving experience U.S. Person per ITAR regulations to comply with export compliance and site SSA requirements High School Diploma or G.E.D required

Preferred Qualifications

Must have a working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems Must have knowledge of DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, inspection and maintenance Must be able to sit and remain alert while driving for an aggregate period of up to 8 hours

Physical Requirements

Standing and walking at least 7 hours a day Ability to carry and lift up to 25lbs Bending, squatting, reaching, pushing and putting required at least 2 hours a day Use of hands for fine dexterity, light and strong grasping at least 7 hours a day
