Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company Urgently Hiring Material Handlers in Parsippany, NJ

Pay: $21-$23/hour ; Overtime: $31.50-$34.50/hour

Location: Parsippany, NJ

Shift: 7am-3:30pm (Monday-Friday)

Job Description

The material handler position is responsible for moving materials to appropriate locations in the plant/warehouse and ensuring the proper flow of production material to the assigned area.

ResponsibilitiesReview daily work schedule, check and maintain forklift equipment and temperature logs, and prepare for the day's operations.Utilize ERP/WHMS software for inventory and shipping/receivingSelect, load, and move materials from trucks, shipping, receiving, packaging, and production areas.Operate Sit-Down Forklift and move productRemove materials from storage or shipping containers and restack and re-palletize materials.Move prepared materials to appropriate locations in the plant and perform the appropriate computer transactions.Essential SkillsForklift operationMaterial handlingExperience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environmentExperience with stand-up forklifts and working in a high rack warehouse environmentERP knowledgeHeavy liftingGeneral productionInventory managementPickingAdditional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or Associate's degreeForklift CertificationHazmat CertificationExperience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environmentAbility to read and understand SOPs and OSHA regulationsValid driver’s licenseGood computer skillsGood verbal and written communication/comprehension skillsAbility to pass tests for Hazmat trainingAbility to read, write, and speak EnglishPay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00
