**Job Title: Material Handler Forklift**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a motivated Material Handler Forklift to join our team. This role involves unloading trucks by hand, palletizing individual boxes weighing up to 50 lbs, and organizing products into appropriate pallets. Once trained and experienced, there is an opportunity to get certified on electric sit-down forklifts and stand-up reach trucks.
**Responsibilities**
+ Unload trucks by hand and palletize individual boxes (up to 50 lbs)
+ Organize products into appropriate pallets
+ Learn and get certified on electric sit-down forklifts and stand-up reach trucks
**Essential Skills**
+ Material handling
+ Picking and packing
+ Loading and unloading
+ Open to learning forklift operation later in the assignment
+ Good attendance and reliability
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in construction, retail, or fast food is preferred
+ Ability to work well in a small, close-knit team
+ No prior warehouse or production experience is required

**Work Environment**
This position is located in the Midwest in a climate-controlled and clean warehouse. The warehouse team consists of six people, fostering a close-knit and collaborative environment. The company distributes animal health and pharmaceutical products, including enzyme-coated rawhides for dogs and dog toothpaste.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of KANSAS CITY, Missouri.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
