**Job Title: Material Handler Forklift**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Material Handler Forklift operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating forklifts, verifying paperwork, work orders, and shipping instructions. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for the kitting and moving of products in a safe manner using a sit-down forklift.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate a sit-down forklift to move products safely.
+ Verify paperwork, work orders, and shipping instructions.
+ Kit and move products in accordance with safety protocols.
+ Handle materials including loading and unloading trucks.
+ Manage shipping and receiving tasks.
+ Use a computer to manage inventory and shipping data.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in computer use.
+ Proper communication skills, including reading and writing.
+ Ability to operate and train as a forklift operator (Preferred 2 years of experience).
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with SAP.
+ Experience in packaging, shipping, and receiving.
+ Ability to handle pallets and packing boxes.

**Work Environment**
This role is based within a large aerospace manufacturing company. Candidates may be required to stand for the entire shift. The position involves working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and efficiency.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Middletown, Connecticut.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.75 - $20.75/hr.
