Stockroom Group Lead Job Purpose: The Stockroom Team Lead provides day-today guidance and support to the Stockroom and Production. The Group Lead takes responsibility for the coordination of activities within the assigned areas and ensures a smooth flow of production to meet schedules, ensuring effective use of people and equipment. The Stockroom Lead participates in the group’s work by coordinating and advising others and/or by helping out where needed to ensure the achievement of expected productivity goals. Nature of Duties: Leads a team of stockroom works to ensure daily receiving is completed in a timely manner Assigns tasks and responsibilities to team members and monitor their performance Keeping the stockroom organized and manageable Takes accountability for the behavior and performance of the assigned group and/or shift, and provides on-the-job training and monitoring to other team members Perform cycle counts when needed to ensure accuracy of the inventory Preparing stockroom kits for customer orders Maintain stockroom receiving and implement inventory solutions to reduce material loss Resolving any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner to ensure orders can be picked Work overtime as needed Maintain shift reports as needed Ensure stockroom standard operating procedures (SOP) are being enforced and training up to date Confirm that proper packaging, storage, counts and transfer of material is accurate Communicate with Buyers and Planners via email Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols Communicating  with Buyers, Planners and other departments to coordinate the movement of goods Abilities to stand for long periods of time, climbing up and down ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping and stretching Overtime is a must   Education and Experience Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Good written and verbal communication skills in English needed to escalate issues to managers, engineering and other departments Abilities to prioritize tasks, problem-solve, and make decision under pressure Experience with WMS preferred                 Sanmina is an Equal Opportunity Employer - M/F/Veteran/Disability/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity.  This is an ITAR facility and applicant must be a US Citizen or a lawful permanent resident.
