The Material Handler I is responsible for packaging and protection of material stored and shipped as well as packaging and distributing to assembling areas. The work schedule is Monday thru Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and overtime is routine, especially the last Thursday and Friday of every month. This position reports to the Cell Leader (Shipping) and is part of the Pall Aerospace Shipping Department located in New Port Richey, FL and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: + Perform all packaging functions (i.e., packing product according to customer specifications) and assist in achieving and maintaining 95% OTD (On Time Delivery) while accurately completing all required paperwork including routers, scorecards, hazard recognitions, etc. + Communicate and give clear, concise verbal and written instructions. + Receive stock and distribute inventory used in all areas of manufacturing. The essential requirements of the job include: + High School Diploma or equivalent (i.e., GED) + Knowledge and experience using software (i.e. MS Office, etc.) + This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required. Any offer of employment is contingent upon Pall obtaining the necessary employment visa and export authorization, including, if required, an export license from the applicable U.S. government agency. Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: + Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 35lbs, ability to bend, lift, stand, and twist for long periods of time (90% of shift). Must be able to climb stars (up to 2 stories). Good eye and hand dexterity.
