**_NOW HIRING MATERIAL HANDLERS FOR A MEDICAL DEVICE COMPANY!_** **Location -** Sorrento Valley, CA **Shift -** Wed - Fri 12PM - 8:30PM, Sat - Sunday 8:30AM - 5:00PM **Pay Rate -** $19.68/HR **Job Description -** • Ensures security and accountability of inventory through transaction documentation, process and procedure verification, and system review. • Develops and executes replenishment strategies; conducts physical inventories and leads cycle counts. • Analyzes and, when able, corrects cycle count discrepancies. • Audits incoming and outgoing shipments to assure quality and accuracy. • Compiles and documents all transactions for data entry. • Responsible for the physical receipt, storage, pick, pack, ship, transport, and delivery of inventory. • Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using a computer. • Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards. • Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors. • Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas. • Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment. • Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations. • Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment. • Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors. • Provide assistance or direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers. **Qualifications Required -** + Receiving trucks from suppliers + Getting receipt in system + Put away raw materials in the racks (utilizing material handling equipment) + Pull orders (8 loads a day to manufacturing) + Drive to offloading site + Operate forklift **_If you are interested, please apply directly with your updated resume!_** **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
