Material Handler - Kitting

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: + Receive, store, and distribute materials and products to Fab, Machine Shop, Assemblers and other operation areas + Keep track of inventory by identifying, labeling, and recording the location of materials and supplies in the Warehouse and other stock locations + Use of forklifts, pallet jacks, and trucks to move materials + Keep Kitting, Assembly areas and other facility areas free of pallets and unused materials + Helping with first inspection – check incoming goods from the warehouse for damage and count accuracy in kitting area + Sort, label and place materials on racks, carts, or bins for upcoming builds + Pull and verify materials from work orders to ensure accuracy and timeliness + Cross-functional collaboration with other departments to understand timeline of machine final assembly and potential challenges for completion + Maintains safe and clean working environment + Wear proper personal protective equipment + Demonstrate accountability and teamwork both on the job and in attendance ongoing + Maintain, move, issue and change locations in MRP + Frequent use of the MRP system + General tasks or duties as assigned SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: + Experience in warehousing WMS and/or manufacturing environments + Must be able to work independently with little supervision + Ability to follow directions and receive feedback from others + Operate a fork truck, drill, and saw and hammer safely + Occasional crane use may be required + Strong organizational, planning, and critical technical skills + Ability to prioritize several competing needs and focus on the details while not losing sight of the big picture + Read and understand work instructions + Capable to lift 30 pounds regularly + Desired experience to build skids and crates for shipment as needed based on dimensions and weights + Willingness to learn software management systems for inventory tracking + Reliable Transportation, good attendance and a strong work ethic is required COMPUTER SKILLS: + Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access) + SAP Business One Experience Preferred + Ability to make logically informed decisions CPM Acquisition Corp. is an equal opportunity employer.
