Material Handler - Level 2

As a Material Handler - Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will\nbe responsible for the efficient and accurate movement of materials within the\nwarehouse. You will report directly to our Warehouse Supervisor, and you'll\nwork out of our Houston, TX location.

In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of\nthe warehouse and supporting the overall supply chain process. You will be\nresponsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, as well as\nmaintaining inventory accuracy. Your attention to detail and ability to work in\na fast-paced environment will be key to your success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•   Receive incoming materials and verify\naccuracy of shipments
•   Store materials in designated\nlocations within the warehouse
•   Pick and pack materials for outbound\nshipments
•   Perform inventory counts and maintain\naccurate inventory records
•   Operate material handling equipment\nsuch as forklifts, pallet jacks and WAV.
•   Ensure compliance with safety and\nquality standards

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work will be completed in office and /or shipping and\nreceiving production areas. There will be potential exposure to seasonal\ntemperatures. Sitting, standing, and lifting packages.

Hours:\n7:00 am – 4:00pm Monday Through Friday.

YOU\nMUST HAVE

•   Detail-Oriented, keeps accurate\ninventory and documentation.
•   2+ years of experience in a warehouse\nor material handling role
•   Ability to operate material handling\nequipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
•   Basic computer skills
•   Display good teamwork, flexibility,\nand initiative.
•   Interface with different departments,\nvendors, and customers in a professional manner.
•   Time management skills.
•   Ability to analyze and review\nshipping/receiving documents.
•   Able to work long hours and/or\nweekends sometimes based on operational needs.
