Location Description The Post Consumer Brands plant in Tremonton, Utah is part of the company's West Coast network, with more than 220 team members supplying Malt-O-Meal bag cereals, PEBBLES cereals, and more to a variety of retailers. Week two: two days off, two days on, three days off) resulting in built-in overtime pay and having every-other weekend off-work. Responsibilities Ensures operations within assigned unit are efficient and meeting assigned targets. Maintains and demonstrates a high level of technical understanding regarding individual process and impact on yield, inventory accuracy, and availability. Performs inventory investigations and reconciliations. Identifies, corrects and documents equipment performance conditions that negatively impact safety, quality, rate, yield, and uptime. Actively participates in root cause analysis and drives corrective actions through resolution. Supports, directs and performs autonomous maintenance tasks accurately and on time. Records accurate data required for measuring overall performance of the assigned unit. Identifies and drives measurable continuous improvement opportunities. Participates in all related programs improving product quality, efficiency and related preventative maintenance programs. Supports, implements, and maintains food safety and quality practices as required through SQF or other requirements. Maintains clean work areas, performs sanitation audits and develops action plans to correct problem areas. Works in rotation as a member of both bulk and dock team. Trains and coaches other employees learning new equipment, processes and/or procedures. Participates in special projects, assignments, and trainings. Assists in other areas of the plant upon request. All other duties as apparent or assigned. Maintains the proper level of certification according to tenure of position. Qualifications Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. 1-2 years of manufacturing or related experience is a plus. Intermediate level mechanical knowledge to include the ability to learn and operate all related Material Handling equipment Ability to utilize WMS computer systems, generated reports, analyze data and determine root cause of inventory errors and implement corrective actions. Ability to follow detailed work instructions. Ability to provide work direction to ensure efficiency across the assigned unit. Ability to recognize opportunities to drive improved line performance through continuous improvement. Basic math and computer skills. Ability to use basic hand and power tools. Ability to work within a team environment and build positive professional relationships. Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form in English. Ability to problem solve and deal with a variety of variables in situations where standardizations/alternatives may or may not exist. Ability to work scheduled shifts, standing, kneeling, climbing and walking for extended periods of the day; capable of repetitive gripping, pinching, lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling with weight ranges up to 50 pounds; ability to perform repeated twisting, bending and reaching of upper and lower extremities; exposure to hot and/or humid environments, heights up to 30 ft., working on ladders, and confined spaces.
