**Location:** Rockville, MD **Pay Rate:** $ 23.58/hour **Shift:** Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (8-hour workday with a 1-hour lunch, potential for overtime) **Position Overview-** Adecco is seeking a **Materials Technician** to support material management tasks, including **inventory control, shipping and receiving, and operating material handling equipment** . This role requires adherence to **safety and quality standards** and offers opportunities for overtime based on business needs. **Key Responsibilities** **Material Handling & Operations** · Operate **forklifts and pallet jacks** to move and organize materials safely. · Follow **Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)** to complete daily tasks. · Monitor and report **critical equipment alarms** to management. · Participate in **bulk drug freeze-down procedures** using controlled-rate freezing equipment. **Shipping & Receiving** · Perform receipt and quarantine of incoming cGMP raw materials in SAP per quality requirements. · Handle non-GMP deliveries as assigned. · Ensure compliance with DOT regulations for material transport. **Inventory Control** · Maintain accurate inventory levels in SAP and conduct cycle counts. · Ensure timely delivery of materials to manufacturing areas per the Warehouse & Distribution schedule. · Execute Transfer Orders (TOs) for direct materials to Production Supply Areas (PSAs). **Must-Have:** · Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks. · Knowledge of SOPs, shipping, and receiving processes. · Familiarity with cGMP standards for raw materials. · Proficiency in SAP for inventory management. · **Forklift certification** and a **valid driver’s license** with a clean record. · Basic **computer skills (Excel, Word)** . · Strong **communication skills** and ability to work in a **physically demanding environment** (stooping, standing, climbing, and lifting up to **50 lbs** ). · Flexibility to work **shifts, holidays, weekends, and overtime** as needed. · High School Diploma or GED required. · Previous warehouse experience is a plus. **Why Join Us?** Adecco provides one of the most comprehensive benefits packages in the industry to contract workers.
