The Material Handler is responsible for accurately and promptly transporting materials to/from workstations and racks, utilizing forklifts, carts and pallet jacks; while following safety rules, meeting productivity standards and achieving attendance requirements.

Major Activities•  

Handling of Goods and MaterialsTransports goods to production and bin locationLoads/off-loads materials for use in productionPuts raw materials and packaging supplies in proper inventory locationMeets or exceeds productivity standards set by management

QualityAlerts management of issues or discrepanciesParticipates in physical inventories and cycle counts

Safety & OrganizationMaintains a clean work area for safe and efficient operationInspects equipment as required to ensure safety and accuracyFollows all safety requirements for machine operationWears appropriate safety equipment at all timesProvides support to other production teams or functions, as needed

Minimum Education ​

High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent

Minimum Type of experience the job requires ​

Pallet jack experience

Demonstrated ability to read, write and speak English fluentlyMust have general, verbal, and numerical intelligence, including reading and matching of numerical sequencesAbility to accurately read a tape measure and ruler; accurately read calipersKnowledge of RF scan gun preferred
