Material Handler - Route Driver (2nd Shift)

The Materials Associates are responsible for performing the following duties: The specific job assignment may entail some or all of the job functions. Associates are expected to rotate through various job functions.
We are looking for a Material Handler - Route Drivers for 2nd shift working 2:00pm -10:30pm Monday-Friday
+ Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming, outgoing and being moved around the factor to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records
+ Checks all materials being moved for accurate labeling, quantity and paperwork.
+ Operates lift truck or use hand truck to move shipments from shipping and receiving area to storage or work area
+ Operate a tugger pulling carts to pick up materials in the raw materials supermarket and delivering them to the production lines
+ Affixes shipping labels and identification labels on items as required
+ Processes computer transaction for incoming, outgoing and inter-plant moves in MAPICS and Future 3 as required
+ Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, reject damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. Routes items to departments
+ Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications
+ Maintains good housekeeping throughout the materials storage areas
+ Complies with all safety policies and procedures
+ May be required to train others
+ Perform other duties as required
Qualifications
+ High School diploma or GED required.
+ Minimum of 3 years experience working in a manufacturing environment.
+ Experience of two years working in a manufacturing materials department.
+ Able to lift 40 pounds on a regular basis.
+ Two years experience entering computer base transactions
+ Three years Fork lift driving experience and a current certification
