Material Handler -Shift 2
**Job Title: Material Handler - Shift 1st and 2nd** **Job Description** We are looking for a dedicated Material Handler to join our team for the first and second shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing shipping, receiving, storage, and order fulfillment services for finished goods, inventory materials, supplies, parts, and equipment at our facility. **Responsibilities** + Pick, pack, sort, arrange, count, store, and correctly process items for storage and/or shipment in accordance with established procedures and customer requirements. + Sustain a high level of quality to ensure customers receive the correct product and on time. + Receive materials and/or finished goods on a daily basis. + Verify the quality, type, and amount of materials received are correct and ensure appropriate documentation is present. + Safely operate distribution equipment as required. + Complete all training requirements and adhere to all standards related to site distribution. + Effectively communicate with internal personnel and provide excellent customer service. + Understand and interpret team metrics and recognize deviations from accepted practices. + Maintain strong attendance performance and be ready to start work on-time daily. **Essential Skills** + High school diploma or equivalent. + 0-2 years of related experience. + Ability to consistently and independently follow policies, procedures, and instructions. + Ability to meet schedules and operate powered industrial trucks at various heights. + Basic computer skills to navigate ERP systems, Outlook, and shipping software. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in logistics. + Experience operating powered industrial equipment (PIT) is highly preferred. + Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred. **Why Work Here?** Join our team and be a part of a company committed to making the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. You will routinely push and pull up to 40 lbs and regularly climb. Occasionally, you may sit, kneel, crouch, crawl, and lift up to 50 lbs. The work may involve handling hazardous materials, and the noise level is usually moderate to high. Flexibility is required to work varying schedules, hours, and overtime as needed, with occasional local travel. The nature of the work can be stressful, and the physical demands are representative of those that must be met to perform the job's essential functions successfully. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Frederick, Maryland. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.70 - $21.09 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
