**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Overseeing the day-to-day operations of a warehouse's material handling activities/team at Hale.
+ Manage movement of materials and inventory throughout the site.
+ Ensures materials are safely and efficiently stocked and transacted in JDE accurately.
+ Implement inventory control procedures to optimize space utilization and stock levels.
+ Ensures inventory records are accurate and work closely with warehouse supervisor on best warehousing practices.
+ Enforce safety regulations and procedures within the warehouse.
+ All other duties as assigned.
**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND REQUIRED ABILITIES**
+ Strong leadership and supervisory skills
+ Excellent organizational and time management abilities
+ Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
+ Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS)
+ Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed
+ Excellent communication skills to interact with vendors, warehouse staff, and other departments
+ Knowledge of inventory control practices
**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent and 5 years in a warehouse or manufacturing supervisory or leadership role.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and over 40 pounds with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. May be exposed to various workplace hazards, including chemicals, machinery, and noise. Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is essential.
