A "roll clamp forklift operator" is **a warehouse worker who operates a specialized forklift equipped with clamp attachments, primarily used to lift, move, and stack large cylindrical objects like rolls of paper, cardboard by securely clamping onto them, rather than relying on pallets** ; essentially, their job is to safely transport and handle large rolls of material within a warehouse using a dedicated "roll clamp" forklift. **Load, unload, pack, and unpack materials** . Label and sort incoming and outgoing shipments. Relocate items within the warehouse or factory. Operate a forklift, winch, or other machinery used for transporting or shipping materials. **Using machinery like forklifts to load and unload stock from trucks** is an essential skill for a forklift operator. This process can include identifying potential hazards like loose loads, centering the weight of a forklift load as much as possible and remaining aware of the maximum load weight the forklift can handle.
