Volt is immediately hiring for Stand Up Forklift Driver in Vernon, CA.

\r\n\r\n

As a Stand Up Forklift Driver you will:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tLoading/Unloading of Trailers\r\n\tSupporting manufacturing departments with material movements to and from their work areas\r\n\tLocating and selecting specific raw materials that vary depending on production run and SKU being produced\r\n\tStaging all raw materials in designated staging lanes\r\n\tEnsuring all inventory transactions are correctly recorded in WMS system using handheld scanners.\r\n\tPalletizing, wrapping, and labeling/relabeling all finished pallets\r\n\tFollowing all warehouse safety procedures for operating equipment\r\n\tAssist in inventory control\r\n\tMaintain safe and clean work environment by keeping workstations, dock areas, and other respective areas in the plant clean prior to ending your shift and transferring work duties to incoming shift material handler.\r\n\tResponsible for compliance with food safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements.\r\n\tAdhere to applicable prerequisite programs (PRP) per HACCP requirement.\r\n\tOther duties as assigned.\r\n\tIt is the responsibility of every employee including temp workers to immediately report to Management the discovery of contamination in any area of the production facility that constitutes a risk to product and/or personnel safety.\r\n\tPerform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned\r\n\r\n\r\n

This is a full time opportunity

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tHours are 11:00PM - 7:30AM\r\n\tRotating scheduled with weekend work.\r\n\r\n\r\n

The ideal candidate will have:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tHigh-energy individual with strong work ethic, fast and physical work environment\r\n\tMust be able to read and write in English, as well as basic proficiency in math and computer knowledge.\r\n\tMinimum 1 year experience as Material Handler\r\n\r\n\r\n

Pay Rate: $19.25 per hour

\r\n\r\n

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
