Day shift is 40hrs/wk (Monday - Friday; 6:30am - 3pm), Afternoon shift is 40hrs/wk (Monday - Thursday; 4pm - 2 am)As a Material Handler you will be responsible for:
Movement, protection, storage and control of materials and products throughout manufacturing Servicing internal customers to support production operations 80% manual labor, 20% forklift operation Picking and packing items into appropriate stock locations Movement of parts and material in order to meet production timelines Safely operating a Tugger, lift trucks, overhead cranes and other material handling equipment Load vans and flatbed trailers using electric and propane powered lift trucksWho are we looking for? Someone who has
A High school diploma Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment Certified on lift trucks including stand up electric forklift, stand up electric reach truck for indoor use as well as propane counterbalance forklifts for outdoor use Experience with stacking pallets, loading/unloading trucks, order picking Good communication, organizational and problem-solving skills Team player with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to lift up to 22 lbs. Knowledge of Kanban process (considered an asset)Work Arrangement: Onsite
