**Looking for a New position in the New Year?** **PDS TECH is looking for 20+ Material Handlers for both FIRST SHIFT & WEEKEND SHIFT positions for our Aerospace client in Tempe, AZ** **FIRST SHIFT = 6am-2:30pm** **WEEKEND SHIFT - Friday-Sunday** **PAY $18/Hr + eligible for $3K in bonuses** **Responsibilities:** • **Loading and Unloading** : Handle the loading and unloading of materials within the warehouse or storage facility. • **Equipment Operation** : Utilize hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move materials to and from aircraft, trucks, trains, and within the storage area. • **Inventory Management** : Verify incoming deliveries, label products, and maintain an updated inventory record. • **Returns Handling** : Process returns by completing necessary documentation and communication. • **Equipment Maintenance:** Ensure material handling equipment is well-maintained through regular inspections. • **Collaboration** : Work with internal departments to locate missing packages, correct delivery errors, and replace damaged products. **Skills and Qualifications:** • **Physical Stamina:** Frequent heavy lifting requires physical strength and coordination. • **Organizational Skills** : Sort and manage inventories accurately. • **Basic Math Skills** : Count and measure quantities precisely. • **Experience: Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a related position. (1-2 years)** • **Communication** : Strong communication skills for collaboration. • **Attention to Detail:** Be precise in labeling, inventory tracking, and handling procedures.
